More Info
Joe Miller was born September 11, 1987 and grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota. After attending Wayzata High School, Joe Miller moved to the USHL and ended up in Sioux City, like future University of Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey teammate Jake Hansen.

Joe Miller played for a couple teams in his time in the USHL. In the 2006-2007 season, he played for Lincoln and Sioux Falls before transferring for his final USHL season to Sioux City. By playing for a variety of different teams, Joe Miller has had to work harder to prove himself and find his niche with each team.

Joe Miller racked up an impressive 23 goals over the course of his 2007-2008 season. The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey team looks forward to seeing where Joe Miller fits on the team and how they can help develop his abilities.

Joe Miller's sophomore season (2009-10) consisted of appearing in 13 games. Though he never recorded a point, he put a shot on goal in 11 of those 13 games. The 2009-10 season allowed Miller to earn his second letter.

For Miller's junior season, Miller skated in 13 games and the Minnesota Gophers were 6-5-2 when he played. Miller made his 2010-11 season debut in a 2-1 win against St. Cloud State.
