Jeff Frazee was born on May 13, 1987 in Burnsville, Minnesota. He joined the University of Minnesota Gophers men’s hockey team in 2005 for his freshman season. He is the Gophers top returning goaltender, and should spend most of the time in net during 2007-08.

Jeff Frazee played in 20 games with 20 starts in his sophomore campaign. He allowed 45 goals while stopping 417 shots for a .903 save percentage. He has a record of 14-3-1 and a 2.35 goals-against average. Frazee finished first in the WCHA in win percentage, ninth in goals against average and 11th in save percentage. The Gophers went 12-2-0 when his save percentage was 90 percent or better.

Jeff Frazee got 11 starts in 12 games his freshman season. He allowed 26 goals and stopped 264 shots for a team best .910 save percentage. Frazee also finished the year with a team-best 2.36 goals-against average. Frazee showed future promise by giving up less than two or less goals in five games.

Jeff Frazee is a graduate of Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but he played prep hockey at the Academy of Holy Angels during his freshman and sophomore seasons. Frazee posted a 14-1-1 record in his sophomore year and a perfect 6-0-0 record in his freshman year. Jeff Frazee was drafted by the New Jersey Devils with the 38th pick in the second round of 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

Jeff Frazee is majoring in residential building science and technology at the University of Minnesota. Frazee enjoys playing golf and cards in his free time. He is the son of Jim and Denise Frazee.
