Mariucci Arena is home to the Minnesota Gophers hockey team.  Mariucci Arena is considered one of the most historic hockey facilities in college hockey.  The student section is one of the loudest in all of college hockey.  The Minnesota Gophers are home to 5 National Championships.

The student section at Mariucci Arena has some of the best chants in all of college hockey.  The student section has memorized and practiced chants that can be heard throughout the building on Friday and Saturday nights.  The Mariucci Arena Student Section is packed every game to support the Maroon and Gold on their quest for another National Championship.
