The Minnesota Gophers and Denver Pioneers have been two of the most successful programs in NCAA hockey history.  Both are storied programs with numerous NCAA titles.  Year in and year out both programs field teams that are capable of winning the NCAA title each season they step on the ice.  This year will be no different.

The Minnesota Gophers and Denver Pioneers will play twice during the 2010-2011 regular season.  The Pioneers will visit legendary Mariucci Arena on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12.  When these two teams play, you can expect lots of scoring, big hits, fast up and down pace, and an intense atmosphere.
