The Brown College Bears hockey  team plays at the George V. Meehan Auditorium in Providence, Rhode Island.  Meehan Auditorium was named in honor of the arena's benefactor who strongly supported Brown College Bears hockey.  The Meehan Auditorium seats 3,059 and opened in 1961.  It was renovated in 2002 to seat more fans and update the facility.

The Brown College Bears hockey team wears school colors of brown, red, and white.  Bruno (a brown bear) is their mascot and Brown College Bears hockey fans sing the "Ever True to Brown" fight song before each home game.

In the team's 50+ year history, at least one former Brown College Bears hockey player has gone on to the NHL after his college career.  Curt Bennett, class of 1970, played professionally for the St. Louis Blues and Atlanta Flames.  Several current Brown College Bears hockey players were considered for the NHL draft but not selected.
